Liwan Museum:The Most Beautiful Mansion
Liwan Museum is a Western-style garden residence built in the 1920s. It is a century-old foreign-style building with the "most beautiful spiral staircase in Guangzhou".
The Liwan Museum is divided into four exhibition areas in total. Based on the historical background of the building, with the theme of Guangzhou merchants selected, it has planned four parts: "Millennium Commercial City - A Long-standing Commercial Metropolis with a Long History", "Diligent and Outstanding Achievements - The Prominent Accomplishments of Guangzhou Merchants", "Patriotism and Family Affection - The Benevolent Acts and Righteous Deeds of Guangzhou Merchants", and "Elegant Taste and Fashion - The Life Interests of Guangzhou Merchants".
The display cases in the museum are custom-designed according to the space of the exhibition hall to achieve the best display effect. These display cases can fully demonstrate the artistic value and historical connotation of the exhibits while protecting them from damage. The design of the corner-through display cases enables the audience to appreciate the exhibits more comfortably and enjoy a better viewing experience. The custom-designed display cases add a unique charm to the museum exhibitions, allowing the audience to better integrate into the atmosphere of the exhibitions and feel the charm and stories brought by the exhibits.
