Boxin Wenbo assists Shangrao Art Museum in creating a new way of urban art exhibition
The new Shangrao Art Museum aims to be "leading domestically and first-class in Jiangxi". The main building consists of one underground floor and three above ground floors, with a total of 9 exhibition halls, including 2 specialized exhibition halls for modern and contemporary painters; The exhibition hall covers an area of approximately 4000 square meters, with a total exhibition line of about 1000 meters. There are also academic lecture halls, public art classrooms, art history and archaeology research rooms, creation and appreciation rooms, paper document protection and restoration laboratories, photography rooms, art libraries, etc.
The main building and indoor exhibition space are designed around the overall principle of "motion and stillness, compatibility between the main and auxiliary", creating a flexible, versatile, natural and compact sense of space, making the exhibition space more rich and diverse, and the exhibition form more vivid.
In terms of display cabinet design, visually expanding the exhibition space makes it easier for the audience to immerse themselves and bring them closer to the exhibits. Following the principle of "flexible layout", design exhibition equipment that suits both two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks, with independent flat cabinets to meet flexible display needs. The cabinet adopts low reflection glass, which improves its transparency compared to ordinary glass while reducing the reflectivity of light to below 1%, thereby reducing the interference of ambient light, improving clarity, and allowing the audience to intuitively feel the charm of the exhibits.
